An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Reservations team on a full time basis.
Main duties and responsibilities
- To take reservations via the telephone, email, mailed correspondence and in-house reservations in an efficient and courteous manner, requesting all information needed to make the booking and secure payment details.
- To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximise hotel sales.
- A polite, courteous Telephone manner is required – always seeking to provide guests with answers to their questions and queries, addressing the guest by their name throughout the conversation & converting each sales opportunity.
- To check all correspondence in connection with reservations and deal with accordingly, upselling at every opportunity.
- To be fully aware of all types of bedrooms & Suites, all their facilities and locations in the resort.
- To be able to offer an alternative (i.e. date, type of room) if we cannot provide what our caller requires.
