Private Family Experience

The family experience is tailored to families with children aged 7 – 12 years of age who are too young to participate in our other experiences.

The experience will begin with a guided tour around our falconry school where you will meet a selection of our birds of prey. We will introduce you to one of our friendly Harris Hawks before we take the bird into the field for some free flying. Here we will teach each member of the family how to call the bird from the trees to your gloved fist for some photos and videos.

Then it’s time to meet the cutest members of our team, the Owls! We will teach you about the species of owl you are flying while capturing some fantastic photos and they do love an Owl selfie!!

 

Duration: Approximately One (1) Hour

The minimum age for entry into our Falconry School is 7 years of age.
Please note we have a 24-hour cancellation policy.

The falconer will work closely with young children throughout the experience but will use their discretion on the day as some children can find it a little overwhelming when they have free flying birds around them for the first time.
