St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Lead out by local celebrity chef Edward Hayden, this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be centred around the theme of Legends and Stories.

Kilkenny Tradfest
With over one hundred music trail sessions and concerts, there’s plenty to choose from at Kilkenny Tradfest!
Enjoy Irish traditional and folk music from local and national artists including Lisa Hannigan, Kilfenora Céilí Band, and Scullion.
When: Wednesday 15th March – Sunday 19th March
St. Patrick’s Day: Festival Market
The Festival Market will host local artisan producers & crafters as they share their love of food, culture, and local produce, creating a feast for the eye as you explore the numerous stalls.
When: Thursday 16th March – Sunday 19th March.
Purdue: The All-American Marching Band
Join the 400 strong Indiana Marching Band from Purdue University as they parade through the streets of Kilkenny city.

The Big Wheel & Vintage Carousel
Get in the carnival spirit this St. Patrick’s Weekend.
Enjoy spectacular views from the top of the big wheel taking in the city, Kilkenny castle, and the Parade, or take a ride on the beautiful vintage carousel right in the heart of festival activity – perfect for all the family!
