Tips for a better night’s sleep
Try the Box Breath: Take a deep inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4 and hold for 4. Repeat 3 x times. This will slowly allow your nervous system to reset and get your body and mind ready for rest
Remove all screens, phones from sight and silence all sounds
Adjust the room temperature
Try not to eat too late as this can interfere with your ability to sleep
Sip a small cup of herbal tea if you wish
Try not to work in bed, it is for sleeping in only
Take a warm bath with some relaxation salts
Visualise yourself in a peaceful space
