COVID Policy & Protocol
Our commitment to safety and well being
To ensure the safety of our guests and employees we have implemented the following plan for our reopening:
Robust Covid- 19 precautions have been put in place for the safety and comfort of the guests and staff including all of the HSE recommendations regarding hygiene and social distancing.
You will find automatic hand sanitising stations at all entry points to the hotel, throughout the common areas, guest elevators and bathrooms.
Signage will remain in place throughout our public areas to remind our guests to observe social distancing and hand-washing.
We advise our guests to make a reservation for breakfast, lunch dinner and use of swimming pool to ensure they receive a preferred time slot and to keep capacities to a comfortable level. This is for the health and safety of guests and staff alike.
We have installed protective Perspex screens at reception desks in main lobby, spa and the food & beverage outlets to protect guests and employees.
Arrival and Check-In
To reduce the wait time for check-in a pre-booking reservation system has been implemented.
Self-car parking available. Our concierge team will offer assistance with luggage, however we have implemented a “self-car parking” policy. This is to protect guests and our employees.
During check-in, guests’ preferences established regarding housekeeping services, luggage handling and in-room requests.
Contactless payment options and e-mail receipts will be encouraged. Where this is not possible, card machines will be disinfected before and after every transaction.
Offered to the guest to pay in full upon arrival or call from bedroom to charge card on file and email receipts will be sent.
Key cards will be disinfected with UV light sanitizer unit before being handed to a guest and a collection box is available on check out where the keys will be disinfected again.
In partnership with Ecolab all appropriate and relevant cleanings agents and chemicals have been selected for use in conjunction with a thorough and comprehensive cleaning and sanitising program.
All bedrooms once cleaned and sanitized will be sealed for your peace of mind.
All housekeeping employees have completed training on the latest protocols and best practice standards in relation to PPE, cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
Guest directories have been replaced with a digital version. QR codes have been created containing all guest information, menus, brochures, and in-room menus.
Magazines, physical brochures, and non-essential collateral will also be removed from guest bedrooms to ensure the minimisation of touch points.
High-touch areas such as door handles, lift buttons, hand rails etc throughout the hotel will be sanitized on a regular basis according to the cleaning schedule.
Employees will wear the appropriate personal protective equipment and are fully trained in how to put on and remove PPE safely.
Back of House
We have implemented a directional flow management system for back of house to ensure social distancing at all times between employees.
Prior to returning to work all employees have/will complete a training program which will continue to run on regular basis. During this training program employees will learn best practices for use of PPE, hand washing procedures, and cleaning guidelines.
We have introduced a non-smoking policy on site for our employees. In addition, cigarette machines have been removed from back of house areas and will not be available to sale at the hotel. Guests are welcome to smoke in designated smoking areas outside.
Restaurants and Bars
Our employees will be wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment and have completed training on the use of PPE correctly.
QR codes will be available for guests to scan using their own phones to access an online version of the menu in each outlet. Physical menus will be on a request basis only and will be disposable.
Bookings are advised prior to arrival at the outlet however we will accept walk ins. We will require to place the reservation on the booking system to record guest details for contact tracing.
We will be required to have the name and contact details of one person in each party. That person will be advised to remember who joined them at the reservations. This is for contact tracing in the future. Details will be securely retained for one month.
All dining services will now have the option of in-room and takeaway, in addition to table service in our restaurants and bars.
Buffet service will be replaced by table service and cooked to order menus. You will be asked to remain seated for the duration of your dining experience.
Oasis Spa and Leisure Centre
The team at Oasis Spa we would like you to relax during your visit and immerse yourself into the Spa Experience. For this reason, we have taken extra measures to safeguard our guests prior to arrival.
We kindly ask from our guests: for the safety of our guests and employees, if you or a member of your household has developed any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat, headaches within the last 7 days please contact the Oasis Spa prior to arrival of your appointment or facility use, so we can obtain further information.
Our guests will be required to pre book all treatments & an advanced COVID – 19 Screening Questionnaire will be required to be completed prior to your arrival at the Oasis Spa.
Our guests will be required to wear their own mask upon arrival to the Oasis Spa.
What Oasis Spa will guarantee to our Guest: Whilst our Spa has always met stringent sanitation requirements, we will now more visibly display those efforts by displaying more signage for your comfort, & sanitizing facilities will be placed throughout the spa.
Our therapists will wear PPE gear during all treatments as an enhanced safety measure.
At this time there might be a reduction in the number of facilities available to use to meet social distancing & health & safety requirements such as our saunas, steam rooms, buffet station, relaxation rooms & changing facilities.
Our Hydrotherapy pool will be available for use to guest receiving treatments in the Oasis Spa. Each treatment will commence with a relaxing sanitizing ritual to give our guest that extra comfort. Whilst there might be some changes to how we operated before, we are dedicated to providing you with an enjoyable Oasis Spa experience.
We ask at this time you respect the Oasis Spa Sanitation and Hygiene standards by following the guideline outlined prior to your visit & during your time at Oasis Spa.
Unfortunately, due to social distancing restrictions our steam rooms, Saunas and Jacuzzi’s will remain closed for the time being in Oasis Spa and the Leisure Centre.
We require pre-booking of slots for the swimming pool at the Leisure Centre.
