Association of Community & Comprehensive Schools

On behalf of the members of the Association of Community and Comprehensive Schools (ACCS) I am happy to recommend the Lyrath Estate Hotel Spa and Convention Centre as an excellent conference venue. Our delegates were so pleased with both the venue and the staff that we are holding our Annual In-School Management Conference there again this year due to popular demand.  Our delegates were very impressed with the standard of the hotel rooms, the meals and the general hotel facilities. On entering Lyrath Estate delegates experienced the ‘wow’ factor.  From the moment we chose the Lyrath Estate Hotel to the conclusion of the Conference the Conference and Banqueting team worked tirelessly to ensure all our needs were met in a professional, helpful, friendly and supportive manner.  The success of our Conference was obviously important to the staff and this was evident from the service staff all the way to the General Manager“.

“I recently managed and coordinated an event at Lyrath Estate and Convention Centre in Kilkenny. Lyrath Estate was an excellent choice for the event with superb conference and catering facilities. I was particularly impressed with the staff at Lyrath, all of whom were friendly, helpful, efficient and flexible. I have received much positive feedback about both Lyrath as a venue and about the quality of service from those who attended the event. Many thanks once again.”

Sarah Cunningham, MASTERCARD. Oct 15

“The Lyrath Estate Hotel was the ideal location for our organisation to host an internationally attended conference. For me, the most important asset for a hotel is the staff, and in the Lyrath’s case the staff represented the perfect mix of friendliness, professionalism and a readiness to lend a helping hand at every stage. Whether it’s for professional purposes or leisure, I’ll definitely be returning to the Lyrath.”

Louise Nolan, ICGP

Vice President, Innovation Management

“Having used many venues all around Ireland I am always very impressed with the set up at the Lyrath Estate Hotel & Conference Centre, Kilkenny . From the professional, friendly, efficient and helpful staff throughout the hotel, to the excellent conference room facilities, it is always a very pleasant experience to deliver conferences there.

Excellent easy to operate audio visual equipment throughout and a responsive air conditioning system made for very comfortable surroundings. The ICGP have been holding Our Annual Summer School at the Lyrath for the last 8 years, with a through-put in excess of 300 delegates annually, and both delegates and College Board Members are in agreement that we will be returning again next year.  Such actions speak for themselves.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Lyrath Estate Hotel & conference centre to anybody considering a conference venue or a relaxing break in their luxurious and zen like 5 star Hotel.”

Gillian Conroy, Coillte

“Coillte have been working with Lyrath for a number for years now, for both small meetings to 600 plus conferences.  The facilities are fantastic and really suit the needs of our events.  The staff in Lyrath are a great team, and work really well together to make our events a success.  One piece of feedback we always receive from our staff after the event is how smooth the event ran, especially the catering side of the event.”
