Tupper’s Bar is also a great place to enjoy some delicious food or an evening cocktail.

An introduction to Gin…
The first confirmed date for the production of gin is the early 17th century in Holland, why not enjoy a glass in our Tupper’s Bar located in our 17th century Manor House.
Gin is for cocktails – not on it’s own
Holland made Gin first (Ever hear of Dutch courage?)
Gin can be used for medicinal purposes
The Conservatory at Lyrath Hotel Kilkenny overlooks Lady Charlotte Wheeler-Cuffe’s Victorian garden. Lady Charlotte’s garden has been carefully restored to her original design, based on family records and drawings. The garden is home to the ancient Lyrath yew trees, which are of such significance they are protected by preservation order.
The Conservatory is an ideal spot for a relaxing drink or a bite to eat. Food is served all day. It’s the perfect place to pass a few relaxing hours in the company of a good book or catching up with friends, particularly on a warm summer’s day when dining al fresco on the terrace is de rigueur.
