Directions from Dublin Airport Follow the signs for the M50 motorway heading southbound. Leave the Motorway at junction 9 which brings you onto the red cow roundabout. Here take the N7 South (Naas Dual carriage way), driving in the direction of Waterford, Limerick. This will automatically turn to the M7. Leave the M7 at junction 11 and take the M9. The M9 now has a new extended Motorway which opened in December 2009 – it enables you to stay on the Motorway and by pass Castledermot & Carlow. Currently you continue on this motorway until it comes to an end with the last exit for Leighlinbridge. Exit here and continue in the direction of Leighlinbridge & Kilkenny. Continue on this road for approximately 20 minutes – do not exit off the road it will take you straight through the village of Paulstown and approximately 11 minutes after Paulstown Village you will see a big green Lyrath Sign a couple of hundred metres before the entrance. We are located just 2km before Kilkenny City itself. Approximate driving time from Dublin airport is 1 hour 20 min. Directions from Rosslare Harbour Take the N25 from Rosslare towards New Ross, from here you can take the scenic route through Thomastown, Bennetsbridge and into Kilkenny. Alternatively, from New Ross head towards Waterford and from Waterford pick up the N9 heading straight through Mullinavat, Ballyhale, Knocktopher, Stoneyford, and on to Kilkenny. Lyrath is situated on the Dublin Road just under 2 km north of the Kilkenny City. Approximate driving time from Rosslare is 1 hour 30 min. Directions from Cork Airport Take the R616 or N8 towards Fermoy, follow the N8 to Mitchelstown. From Mitchelstown take the N8 to Cahir, the N24 from Cahir to Clonmel. In Clonmel follow the N76 to Callan and onwards to Kilkenny. Lyrath is situated on the Dublin Road just under 2 km north of the Kilkenny City. Approximate driving time from Cork Airport is 2 hours. |
